Jeremy Davidson

When did you first get involved with Heybo Outdoors ?
End of Fall Season of 2018

What is your favorite hobby when you’re not pursuing your outdoor passions?
My true passions revolve around the natural world in so many ways…Its a Lifestyle! It has always been a basis of what ever I pursue, from mountain biking & travel to architectural design & photography and of course creating my mouthwatering dishes with my very own JD’Z SeaZ’N. So I would have to say…spur of moment recipes and plating the dishes (presentation) for Friends and Family to Enjoy!

What is your favorite category in the Heybo line?
Definitely the new Plaid Guide Series Button Down Shirts….Wow, Wow, Wow, dress them up dress them down…I’m always feeling & looking great from working on the water to fine dining at my favorite local eats!

How would you spend your dream day?
If it where so, I would start my day with a cup of Eastpoint Coffee and Smoked Mullet on an Everything Bagel and Cream Cheese on my way to “Three Creeks Ranch” (family farm). Moving slow at sunrise to my favorite spot on the South Property for hunting Whitetail. Admiring the wild world as it awakes to later find myself eating Bruch with my father (Dr John Davidson) & cousin (Capt Jay Carson)…Local Smoked Bacon, Sausage & Farm Fresh Eggs. After a great conversation we would head to Econfina & Hickory mound to sight-fish tailing Redfish in Gin clear water with my FFP 2500CE & BullBay Sniper Rod. Upon return to the ranch later afternoon I would jump back into woods with Heybo Cam to harvest that 12pt Buck walking the fringe at sunset….well the only thing left is fresh backstrap with JD’Z on my S&S Firepit open flame (cherry wood) with cold glass of a Fine Bourbon to tell the tale of One Fine Day!

Biography

Captain Jeremy Davidson is a Florida-raised outdoors man specializing in custom sight fishing, river cruise photography and inshore light tackle adventures on the Apalachicola River, and in Apalachicola Bay, that confront your imagination. He calls it, filling in the gaps. Tours with this guide, who never backs down from a fine-tuned shot at the ninth inning of a trophy catch, but slows down to enjoy the playful camaraderie of dolphins can feature an epic tarpon fight or be as tame as a photo shoot with your kids. You won’t ever go on just a ride! Davidson delights in designing it that way to share his good fortune with those who seek to experience the unseen parts of the Panhandle he calls home. The best place to find him is where he wants you to be–on the water–taking your vacation, or special occasion to the next level of epic!

“I put people in places that they’d never get to see. Just to get away awhile.”

Davidson’s fishing experience spans his childhood hooking snook under the stars at Gasparilla Island, catching large mouth bass on River Lake and top water Red fishing the Forgotten Coast at Econfina and Aucilla. He has been coming to St. George Island with his family for over 18 years and mastered slaying the elusive Tripletail. His passion for photography has developed from a young age as well, and is supported by his insatiable enthusiasm for capturing his subjects as part of the surprises and spectacular works of art nature provides. He uses his contagious energy to also be involved in conservation and youth programs with Ducks Unlimited and is an avid hunter on his family’s North Florida ranch. Grateful for the amazing community that Apalachicola is, Davidson makes sure that visitors who confide their experience in him feel they are being brought back in time but also in touch with everything new to discover about each day on the water. To catch that next big fish, or capture the biggest smile ever requires only that you take a leap of faith and get on board.

“Nine times out of ten, something surprising happens. That’s the beautiful thing!”
